It started in 1987 with a truck, a few portable restrooms, and customers who were willing to give us a try.
Today AirFresh Industries, Inc. has grown into a mature and thriving portable restroom company that serves the entire Twin Cities Metro Area, surrounding counties, and Western WI.
We still have many of the customers that we started with 30 years ago!
Kelly and Tim Thommes started their vision just out of high school; a portable restroom company that focuses on customer service and performing above industry standards. Thus “Clean and Fresh / The New Standard” was born. Tim, with his loyalty and excellence in customer relations, maintained many of the contracts; while Kelly pursued a Masters Degree in Soil Science/Waste Management from the University of MN and began Designing and Inspecting septic systems.
AirFresh Industries is a DBE/TGB/CERT (SBE/WBE)/WOSB certified firm. Kelly is the President of AirFresh Industries, Inc. and Tim is the Vice President of Field Operations. In 2010, AirFresh Industries entered the construction arena and shortly thereafter Kelly was awarded the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal “Women To Watch” honor

Kelly has also served as President and Board Member of the Association of Women Contractors
